The Netherlands came up against San Marino in a European Championships qualifier and completely decimated the side in Eindinhoven with a final score of 11-0.
The striker becomes the first Holland player to score four goals in a Euro Qualifier since Marco van Basten netted a record five vs Malta in December 1990.
It was a tidy quartet on goals from the Dutchman as he netted a brace at close range after great runs and continued to his quartet after slotting home a rebound and then putting the finishing blow on a well worked moved just inside the top of the 18-yard box.
Similarly new gunner Chu-Young Park was also amongst the goals for South Korea and in an emphatic fashion, scoring a hat-trick in their World Cup qualifier against Lebanon.
They were good quality goals from Park, where his first came in the form of a side-foot volley from a long ball on the left, his second a header from a deep corner and his third from a great ball over the top where he finished just inside the box blasting the ball low to the far left corner.
