Arsenal winger Oxlade-Chamberlain ran riot netting a quickfire first-half brace before completing his hattrick shortly after halftime.
The Arsenal winger took control on a loose ball, outpaced the defence and coolly slotted home across the goalkeeper, who then handed ‘Oxo’ his second on a plate three minutes later. Petursson spilt Delfouneso’s cross straight at the feet of Oxlade-Chamberlain, who tapped home into the empty net.
Oxlade-Chamberlain wasn’t down yet, with more brilliance from the summer signing, he beat two men before unleashing a cross-cum-shot from the tightest of angles which Petursson helped into the net.
The former Southampton teenager has five goals in his last three games for club and country. He is making a big name for himself already, and although Wenger wants to progress him slowly, there is no denying he will become a massive Arsenal star in the near future.
