Gervinho has been the latest player to speak out on Hazard’s quality, and the Ivorian believes he has the capability to succeed in England, but it will take a substantial transfer fee to prise the starlet away from his current club, and with so many clubs interested a bidding war is inevitable.
Gervinho told French radio RMC Sports:
Hazard is a young player with enormous quality
If he has decided to leave, it is normal for clubs to be interested, as he has the level to triumph in a big league like England.
Eden has learnt a lot at Lille, and I believe he could succeed abroad. Where he goes is up to the clubs. But it will be a big operation.
If Gervinho and fellow international team mate Vermaelen put in the good word and convince Hazard to join them at Arsenal many Gooners will be finally happy with a decent transfer. Although the Belgian international will have to take a significant pay cut to head to North London, can the good word of some of his friends convince him to join a club that is about ambition, beautiful football and the team itself and not just individual players, or will he join a selfish, gold digging team such as Manchester City that are full of twats (apart from Balotelli, he’s totally level headed)? The Arsenal board need to dig deep and invest in a player that can add huge quality and excitement to the team and share the goal scoring and creative burden with RVP .
