The Gunners will travel to the San Siro for the first leg on the 15th February before hosting the Italian giants at Emirates Stadium on the 6th March.
Arsenal became the first English club to beat Milan at the San Siro in the memorable 2-0 victory where Cesc Fabregas and Emmanuel Adebayor both netted during the last sixteen in 2008.
Wenger revealed his thoughts on the fixture ahead toArsenal player:
[on facing Milan] It is a difficult draw but an exciting one. And they could say exactly the same thing I suppose. It is a 50:50. So let’s make sure we continue to improve until February. Then we can take our chance with full power and belief.
[on memories of great wins against Milan and Inter at the San Siro] Yes, we have good memories at San Siro. As I say it is an interesting draw. Ideally, it is a draw for one round later but you take them when they happen. There is not much more to say really – everybody knows Milan, everybody knows Arsenal. We have been in the Champions League for many years and both sides play positive football.
[on playing another title-winning team – after beating the Greek and German champions in the groups] We have been up to the task every time in this competition so let’s make sure we are again.
The match will provide a real test for the Gunners, and AC Milan were probably the toughest side that Arsenal could have drawn after they finished second in their group behind former Champions Barcelona. The tie will be a mouth watering affair and it is one that Arsenal have a decent chance of winning in their quest for silverware.

There is plenty of time to prepare mentally for the trip, and they have the upper hand playing the second leg at home. At least a draw will be a welcomed result at the intimidating San Siro.
