In May the Gunners began the celebrations when they unveiled their new home kit which featured a commemorative badge (image-right) to mark the 125 years since the club (founded in Woolwich, south London, in 1886 as The Royal Arsenal) was born.
The statues form part of the special anniversary for the club, and the Gunners are keeping details of the three legends private until the unveiling at the Emirates on Friday.
Club legends Cliff Bastin and Thierry Henry are among the favourites to be honoured. Bastin was the clubs hero during the 20’s and 30’s, while Henry is the clubs all time top goalscorer.
