The move comes as a result of both Coquelin and Frimpong fighting for valuable first-team experience with Arsene Wenger admitting that one of the two had to be loaned out.
Wenger said on the situation:
The reason behind it is that he is in the position of Jack Wilshere, he has the level to play with [Alex] Song in front of him.
But he is somebody who needs practice; he needs the rhythm of the games. Mick McCarthy told me he has a good chance to play. I also have Coquelin in this position who can play.
One of the two had to go on loan, and Frimpong has a good opportunity at Wolves.
With the return of Jack Wilshere imminent it is definitely a good decision for Frimpong to get some valuable first-team experience. The Ghanaian midfielder will surely get a lot more game-time for Wolves who have a big battle to stay out of the relegation zone ahead of them. What do you guys think?
