The German source reports that the two Germans are Aresne’s top targets this coming summer as he looks to re-invent his team after what is almost certain to be another trophyless season.
It is claimed the pair will cost Wenger £55m, which is basically the whole of the rumoured funds he is to be given at the end of the season, according to claims from recent publications anyway (so take the statement with a pinch of salt).
Whether it happens is obviously complete speculation, but both recruitments would obviously significantly strengthen Arsenal’s current weaknesses in midfield and up front.
Admittedly Ramsey has been sub-par this campaign, although in saying this he has been unfairly burdened with a huge responsibility for someone so young and inexperienced.
You feel a player with world-class ability such as Gotze would really be able to unleash our potent attack while Podolski could shoulder some of the burden put on Robin van Persie as well as play out wide or give Wenger options for a formation change with two up front.

What do you guys think will pan out? The interest in the two German’s seems solid, but will Wenger spend up big to get them? Feel free to leave a comment below!
