According to The Mirror, Dutch star Arjen Robben has a host of Premier League clubs on alert including Arsenal after the attacking midfielder admitted life isn’t going so swell in Germany.
Van Persie’s international team mate Robben absolutely annihilated England’s defence in their 3-2 friendly win over the Three Lions last week, netting two sensational goals. He is now attracting interest from the likes of former employers Chelsea as well as Tottenham, Manchester United and Arsenal.
He is reportedly seeking a move away from Bayern Munich and could well be available for as little as £10million because he will enter his final year of his deal this summer.
Robben told the Sunday Mirror:
I don’t have an ideal situation in Germany. I am now considering the options I have and I will get.
It was great to play at Wembley and to see many people I know. It was only my second international game for Holland since the World Cup and it was great that this was in London at Wembley.
I can try put up a brave face and make out all the things in Munich do not effect me, but of course it gets on my nerves and effects me.
I just needed this game against England so much. It was a joy to be playing at my best again.
Robben was a huge success with Chelsea before moving to Real Madrid in 2007, then he switched to the Bundesliga giants in 2009. The main issues surrounding his future is due to Bayern team mates and the media claiming the star is too selfish with Bayern legend Franz Beckenbauer criticizing the forward for celebrating goals on his own.

But former Holland superstar Marco van Basten still holds Robben in high regard because of his ability to score out of nothing:
There are not many players who can start a run in their own half and score at the other end. He is quick, gifted and is always explosive
He certainly proved that against England last week, and would be a welcomed and much needed addition to the Gunners squad if they can somehow entice him to North London. The £10m transfer fee certainly would not be a big issue, his wage demands however will certainly be a stumbling block. If Arsene Wenger did splash out on him then Van Persie will be more likely to remain at the Emirates, and the French manager admitted they will do everything they can to keep their captain so here is the first step Mr Wenger!
What an amazing acquisition Robben would be, he’s extremely versatile, has a wealth of experience and would fit into the Gunners style of play quite easily. Would you prefer Robben over Hazard? I think I may well do…
