Arsenal v Hull
Barclays Premier League
Kick off: December 04, 2013 7:45 PM BST
With five changes being made by Arsene Wenger tonight, they were perhaps not the ones many people were expecting. Walcott and Giroud both started on the bench, with Bendtner being given the nod upfront.
Many people probably groaned when they saw Bendtners name on the team sheet, but they were soon retracting those groans when the Dane got us off to a flying start after just a minute. A superbly weighted ball from Ramsey put Jenkinson in a fantastic crossing position, the young right back putting a pin point cross into the box. Bendtner rose well between the two Hull centre halfs to head home his first Premier League goal of the season, putting Arsenal into the lead.
The game looked like it was setting up to be a footballing master-class from Arsenal, the entire squad linking up well and setting up camp at the edge of the Hull box. Bendtner almost doubled his tally after an Özil shot was spilled and dropped right at his feet. His first touch let him down however, and the ball rolled out for a goal kick. Ramsey had a couple of good efforts saved, one piledriver from thirty yards out, and one good shot on the turn at the edge of the box. McGregor proving equal to both shots.

Hull started to grow into the game as the half went on, and they certainly looked capable of snatching a goal. This made it even more worrying that Arsenal had been unable to turn their dominance into more of a lead.
Bendtner almost turned provider at the end of the half with a good cross into the box, it was just too high for Özil though, and the German headed wide. The whistle went, and it remained 1-0 to the Arsenal.
