Arsenal travel to Anfield on Saturday for the lunchtime kick off, this is their first of their ‘Helleven Days’ in which they face United, Bayern and Liverpool again in the FA Cup in the space of just 11 days.
Wenger has suggested Jack Wilshere could return to the squad after overcoming his ankle knock sustained against Coventry City, but Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain’s match winning performance against Crystal Palace that saw him bag a brilliant brace will be freshly in Wenger’s mind. His pace will certainly be welcomed again and stretch Liverpool’s volatile backline and the lethargic Steven Gerrard.
If you are thinking of placing a bet on the fixture SportsBettingOnline.ag are offering some enticing odds on an Arsenal victory which is paying over 2/1. Liverpool have leaked goals this season while Arsenal’s attack is beginning to regain momentum.
Sagna, Koscielny, Mertesacker and Monreal seem set to start again, with Gibbs seemingly behind the Spaniard in the pecking order of late, but the Englishman will get plenty of opportunities over the next couple of weeks as Wenger can easily afford to rotate the duo.
Mesut Ozil will naturally start as the No10, while my preferred set up remains the in-form Cazorla and Lukas Podolski on the flanks like last weekend. Wenger has another option in Serge Gnabry out wide, and he would expose the frail ‘Pool backline.

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain could also feature from the wing should a Wilshere come back in, meaning Santi would operate from the left. But fielding both the Spaniard and Podolski on the wings seems the more reliable choice.
Olivier Giroud will start up front, with the likes of Rosicky and Bendtner on the bench.
Here are is our predicted lineup:
Sagna Merts Kosc Monreal
