According to the Telegraph, Aaron Ramsey is setting his sights on next months North London Derby for his long awaited return from injury.
The midfielder was Arsenal’s most in-form player for the first half of the season but has been out with a thigh injury since Boxing Day, then suffered a relapse in January, frustratingly extending his spell on the sidelines.
It appears the Gunners are close to regaining the Welshman’s services in around two weeks time, with the derby against Tottenham Hotspur the likely return date on March 16.
A comeback for the Champions League second leg against Bayern Munich in midweek prior to the visit to White Hart Lane seems unlikely, but he should be fit and fresh for the Gunners tough run of fixtures against Chelsea, Manchester City and Everton.
His return will be a massive boost especially with Wilshere playing a large number of games recently. If he can return to his goal scoring best, he will be vital for the season run-in and help toward our title push. So fingers crossed for no more setbacks for the Welsh star.
