The 27 year old versatile midfielder has been in fine form for Atletico this season and has earned a number of suitors across Europe.
His agent Ahmed Bulut has confirmed the player is happy at the Vicente Calderon but has opened the door to a future switch to Arsenal after admitting that Turan wants to work under Wenger and is keen on playing in the Premier League.
According to the Express, he said:
He is interested in working under Arsene Wenger and Arda would like to play in England.
Arda will not leave Atletico. They are part of the title race and he is a key player. Arda plays for a big club and he will be part of Atletico’s success.
We have received offers from English clubs. However, for now I would like to insist once more that Arda renewed his contract recently and wants to stay at Atletico.
Turan is a midfielder is a disciplined and hard working individual who doesn’t shy away from defensive responsibilities. He possesses the technical ability and guile to be a Premier League star and may fancy moving on from La Liga if Atletico fall short this year.

He has scored three goals in the domestic league, has also netted twice in five Champions League displays and has developed into a key player in Diego Simone’s team, helping Atletico keep pace with Barcelona and Real Madrid in the La Liga title race. He signed a new long-term deal in Madrid last December and is contracted to stay at Vicente Calderon until 2017.
The agent’s comments will keep the Gunners on high alert; as it’s not often a player of his quality admits he’d like to work with the manager at another club, so the comment could be seen as an exit plea for the summer. I think he’d be a superb addition to the squad as we may need a versatile midfielder who can operate wing, but it will be very hard to prize him away from Atletico any time soon.
