The Gunners welcomed back Aaron Ramsey and Mesut Ozil to the lineup on Sunday in their victory over Hull, together for the first time since December.
Ramsey’s recent return to fitness has been hugely noticeable with the Welshman seen storming forward often, creating an outlet for Giroud (note Podolski’s goal) while he works hard to get back and defend.
It’s easy to forget how influential Ramsey was against West Ham, coming off the bench he transformed the tempo and injected belief and legs into the tired midfield. Then he pushed on to another level with an inspirational, man of the match performance against Hull.
Ozil is also a huge asset and has the ability to provide the pin point passes we’ve missed. Playing a vital part in Ramsey’s goal, the German star opened up Hull’s defence with his slick inside pass. Finally Arsenal’s attack looks fluent again and we can be excited and confident for the remaining fixtures.
Podolski now has four goals in his last two games, and he’s proving un-droppable. The German has been his most lethal recently when coming in centrally, although he’s not the safest winger in terms of covering, his clinical finishing has won us two games on the bounce and we must continue to get him in these positions. He’s proven to be a decent partner for Giroud, offering the Frenchman a bit more support in attack.

The Gunners need to continue to keep the ball rolling ahead of their final four fixtures of the season, and with the aforementioned trio terrorizing our opponents it bodes well for us.
