The Gunners are yet to make any proper moves in the transfer market despite a couple of their rivals already making significant steps to improve the playing squad.
Wenger recently penned a new three-year-deal after leading the north London club to the FA Cup at Wembley in May and the Gunners are expected to strengthen in order to be better-placed to challenge for the Premier League title.
Gazidis has claimed that Wenger goes into the summer transfer window with no fear of spending Arsenal’s entire budget and is ready to pay big money to secure the right players.
According to Goal.com, he said:
Transfers are obviously important and we are deep in conversations already. I am confident we will add what we need this summer.
The manager is not scared to spend, has the experience, but as always will have to juggle a set budget.

We are all really pleased with securing Champions League qualification again. Last season was a great experience for players to win the FA Cup and now we want more.
The Gunners need to invest heavily this summer if they want to continue to add to the trophy cabinet. Bacary Sagna and Lukasz Fabianski, are set to walk away on free transfers and doubts still remain over club captain and back-up centre-back Thomas Vermaelen, so we definitely need a couple of defensive signings.
Wenger should be looking to sign a defensive midfielder to succeed the creaking limbs of Mikel Arteta. Arsenal need someone who can provide a long-term foil to Aaron Ramsey, as the Welshman is a roamer by nature and a player with both power and positional sense will be required to liberate the Welshman.
In attack Arsenal most urgently require an upgrade and although Olivier Giroud has registered an impressive 22 goals this season, the North London club are worryingly over reliant on the Frenchman. Their attacking potential falls well short of the potency of Manchester City and Liverpool. Remy, Bony, Balotelli and Benzema have all been linked with a move and it remains to be seen who will end up at the Emirates.
The Gunners broke their transfer record to recruit Mesut Ozil from Real Madrid. His arrival lifted the entire club, and it seemed to help move the team forward. If we can sign at least one player of the same calibre this summer as well as some other good, solid reinforcements at the back and a defensive midfield enforcer then we will be in great shape to go for the league title next season.
