Arsenal youngster Hector Bellerin looks set to start his first Champions League tie against German giants Borussia Dortmund after his fellow academy graduate Damián Martínez gave him a shout out via Twitter.
The Gunners are in something of an injury crisis at the back with a serious ankle injury to Mathieu Debuchy handing Bellerin an exciting chance. Another 19-year-old Calum Chambers looked set for the right back role but tonsillitis has prevented him from featuring.
The Argentine shotstopper Martínez Tweeted this afternoon: “All the best to my brother @HectorBellerin as he starts his first game for Arsenal #quality” – see Tweet below.

Bellerin has impressed for Arsenal during the preseason Emirates Cup tournament and is highly regarded by Wenger, however it is crazy that we are having to rely on a 19-year-old to debut in the first game of the illustrious European tournament.
Best of luck to him however. He will need it tonight.
