We finally managed to win two consecutive games after the 2-0 win against Sunderland today. That in itself is a relief; and hopefully this is the start of a strong run of games for the Gunners. Neither the win against Anderlecht or the one against Sunderland was convincing; today we scored courtesy some horrible defensive errors, but I’ll take the three points any day.
The hero of the game was undoubtedly Alexis Sanchez. The Chilean played with his usual energy and passion, and was a real threat both on and off the ball. And when the Sunderland defence made the errors, Sanchez was on hand to make them pay. The brace was nothing less than he deserved for that performance and the fans on Twitter also appreciated the talented forward for his contributions. Here are some of their best tweets:
The way Alexis plays is what's been missing from arsenal in recent seasons. His hunger is incredible. Still not enough of it in the side

Alexis Sánchez once again shows why Arsenal paid £32m for him. 7 goals in 11 games. Chilean magician. pic.twitter.com/Ck9wIZLY9m

Arsenal have scored four 90th minute goals this season, two more than any other team in the Premier League.

God bless Arsenal's goalkeeping policy… worst keeper in the Prem helped us out there. Terrible performance. 3 points though.

When you're away from home after an away tie in Europe, all you can ask for is 3 points. Well done Arsenal.

The clean sheet is also something to be proud of, considering how leaky the Arsenal defence has been this season. Barcelona can’t be thanked enough for selling Sanchez to us, without him we would probably be in the relegation zone by now.
But we have secured the three points and hope is still alive as we chase Chelsea. Next week is another game and lets hope Arsenal can carry forward this form and confidence.
