Manchester United head to Emirates Stadium this weekend without the services of their star striker Radamel Falcao however a series of previous injury doubts have been cleared to play.
The Red Devil’s injury woes have been as comparable as Arsenal this season, with Luis Van Gaal continuing to suffer new blows week after week. Falcao has been missing for the past few weeks but had hoped to return for this weekend’s big match in north London. Van Gaal has confirmed the on-loan Colombian will miss the next two weeks at least – good news for the Gunners.
The United boss told United’s official television channel MUTV:
It takes time. Next week he [Falcao] shall train, probably with our selection and then he needs two weeks and maybe a game.
While Falcao, Davey Blind and Luke Shaw will almost certainly be missing this weekend, both David de Gea and Michael Carrick look set to return to the fold.
