Arsenal head to Etihad stadium on Sunday and will be brimming with confidence after beating Stoke City last weekend.
The main change is Mathieu Debuchy who misses out through injury with Calum Chambers slipping straight in. The Englishman has made a recovery from illness that kept him from making the bench for the Stoke win.
In midfield it gets slightly more tricky. Arsene Wenger has a few decisions to make especially regarding in form duo Francis Coquelin and Tomas Rosicky. The two have been immense recently and have begged the question whether they are ready to face the former champions.
Mathieu Flamini is back in contention but it appears his younger compatriot Coquelin will get the nod after some promising combative performances. Aaron Ramsey is fit too but will be eased back into action. Wenger could start the Welshman however after a couple of weeks full training but for me Rosicky has done enough to warrant a start in midfield.
Further forward we need to keep the same structure and utilize both wingers with actual wingers. Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Alexis Sanchez on either flank is working particularly well, plus how can you drop Santi Cazorla at present? This means Mesut Ozil will have to continue on the bench. It is better to keep the same shape and rotating players rather than trying to integrate every star man which has proven to not work in the past.
Olivier Giroud will spearhead the attack and hope to recreate his fine form shown in the Community Shield clash between the two at the start of the campaign.
Here is our predicted lineup:
