As usual, we have a huge number of injuries ahead of our crunch Premier League clash with Manchester City this Sunday. It’s nice to see that things aren’t totally one way for once however, with Manuel Pellegrini’s side missing a few stars of their own, according to talkSPORT.
Cash loving mercenary Samir Nasri is set to miss the game at the Etihad, with the Frenchman suffering a calf injury that looks set to keep him out for up to a month.
“[He will be out for] around three weeks or a month. Before that [playing] is difficult,” revealed Pellegrini.
It would have been fantastic to beat the Premier League champions with Nasri in the side, but his absence should certainly give us an advantage.

The hosts will also be without Yaya Toure and new signing Wilfried Bony, with both players currently on international duty with the Ivory Coast at the African Cup of Nations.
Unfortunately Pellegrini also revealed that Edin Dzeko, Sergio Aguero, and club captain Vincent Kompany would be back in the squad, although whether the trio will be fit enough to start is still unclear.
