We have been heavily linked with Southampton’s Morgan Schneiderlin for quite a while, but the Frenchman has dropped arguably his biggest hint yet that he could be on his way out of the South Coast club this summer, as reported by the Express.

Schneiderlin to Arsenal has been one of the biggest will-they-won’t-they stories of the last few transfer windows, but a move never quite materialised.
The 25-year-old has been open in the past about his desire to move on, and claims Champions League football is what he is aiming for.
While it’s not out of the question for the Saints to finish in the top four this season, many believe they will fall off towards the tail end of the campaign.
Schneiderlin looks set to leave St Mary’s if that happens, and we are sure to be one of the teams vying for his signature if that happens.
“A career passes quickly and I want to play for a big club. Today I am at Southampton, it’s going well,” he said.
“We’ll see at the end of the season if [a transfer] will happen.
“If we have qualified for the Champions League, I will make the choice.”
The dominant defensive midfielder has been top of not only Arsene Wenger’s transfer shopping list recently, but a huge number of Arsenal fans’ lists as well.
We are allegedly facing competition from La Liga side Barcelona, but the Spanish giants are currently in the middle of a transfer ban, and will be unable to offer him an exit this summer.
