Calum Chambers is the latest Arsenal player to be interviewed by the clubs magazine and the young defender revealed that Theo Walcott was always one of his idols growing up.
Chambers was signed from Southampton in the summer, and is the latest in long-line of products from the Saints academy to gain big moves.
After an all-action first half of the season, Chambers has predominantly been on the bench for us following the turn of the year.

In the interview, he confirmed that Walcott has always been a player he’s admired growing up, right back to his Southampton days.
“Theo’s a top professional. I look up to him and respect him massively,” Chambers told Arsenal magazine.
“He’s been really good to me as well. He’s been really supportive and I feel like if there’s anything I need, I can go to him and ask. He’s the kind of guy who will give you his full attention. He’s done so well since he’s been here, and so has Alex.”
Chambers has played at right-back, centre back and holding midfield since he signed and it is fair to say that he’s looked most convincing at heart of our defence.
His lack of mobility makes right-back and holding midfield awkward positions for him and his performance alongside Per Mertesacker earlier on in the season were encouraging.
Having just turned 20, the future is bright for the defender.
