UEFA Champions League
Stade Louis II
Kick off: March 17th, 2015 1945 GMT
With nothing to lose and a minimum of three goals required to ensure qualification for the next stage, today’s game is an opportunity for the players to mount an all-out attack on the Monaco goal. Manager Arsene Wenger will have surely driven this point home among the playing XI and he has picked the team he thinks is best suited for the task at hand. The manager has gone on record to say that he thinks the Gunners can overturn the deficit; lets see if the team he has picked can live up to expectations.
The team is mostly up to expectation, though the inclusion of Mertesacker after his disappointing performance in the first leg might raise some eyebrows. Bellerin comes into the side in place of Chambers; while up front Walcott has been rested and Welbeck has been handed a start. With both Giroud and Welbeck starting, we are sure to see a more direct approach from the side, and Alexis might also chip in with a crucial goal.
On the bench, Ramsey and Walcott could be our super subs today.
