Arsenal defeated Manchester United at Old Trafford this evening to confirm their place in the FA Cup semi-finals, and will take on either Reading or Bradford City at Wembley Stadium.
Last season we didn’t leave London in our FA Cup triumph, but we were immense against the Red Devils – particularly in midfield – and deserved our win.
While they’re still not through to the last four having only been held to a draw by Blackburn Rovers at Anfield, Liverpool were still the team we were looking to avoid.
Although Bradford City have been the scourge of plenty of teams over the past few seasons, given that our opposition will be from at least one tier below the Premier League even if Reading qualify, we ought to consider ourselves favourites to reach the final – while remembering to avoid complacency.
