Former Arsenal midfielder Alexander Hleb as this week been speaking about his time at the club and the Belarusian admitted that he misses his days in north London, the 33-year-old told Hurriyet.
Hleb joined us in 2005 and delivered some high quality performances during his three-years at the club, propelling him into one of the best playmakers in the Premier League – even if he didn’t shoot.
Despite the lack of goals, the relationship he formed with Cesc Fabregas was crucial, and brought about some stunning football. Inevitably though, Hleb was one of the players who jumped ship thinking the grass was greener on the other side. The difference was that to his credit, Hleb frequently admitted that leaving Arsenal was a bad decision.

“I had a great time at Arsenal,” Hleb was quoted as saying by Turkish Football.
“We had a great team spirit and were a fantastic team before I left for Barcelona. I miss those days.”

Now plying his trade in Turkey with Konyaspor, Hleb’s career severely deteriorated following his departure, hardly featuring for the Barcelona side which claimed the treble in 2009.
