Arsenal v Liverpool
Kick off: Saturday April 04, 2015 – 12.45 PM BST
A fantastic performance saw us continue our winning run, with Hector Bellerin, Mesut Özil, Alexis Sanchez, and Olivier Giroud putting Liverpool to the sword.
We have all but knocked the Merseyside club out of the race for the top four, and moved up to second place just four points behind Chelsea.

- Revealed: The Extent Of Aaron Ramsey’s Injury
GK) David Ospina – 7.0
Didn’t have a huge amount to do, but what he did he did well. He got a hand to Jordan Henderson’s penalty, but couldn’t keep it out.
RB) Hector Bellerin – 7.0
A fantastic performance marred somewhat by giving away a penalty. He took his goal superbly, and was the catalyst that started a dominant eight minutes in which we scored three goals. Was possibly lucky to stay on the pitch, with his inexperience showing when he was already on a yellow card.
CB) Laurent Koscielny – 6.5
A decent showing from the Frenchman, who was substituted with a minor thigh issue early on in the second half.
CB) Per Mertesacker – 7.0
Was seriously in danger of being exploited by the pace of the Liverpool strike force before the game, but experience told and was faultless throughout the game.
LB) Nacho Monreal – 6.5
The left-back didn’t offer as much going forward as he usually does, but his defensive display was solid. Nothing fancy, but he did his job.
DM) Francis Coquelin – 8.0
The 23-year-old has become hugely important to the way we play, and no more so during this game. He was constantly pressing and breaking up play, and made a number of vital interceptions.
CM) Aaron Ramsey – 8.0
The Welshman’s pressing and work-rate was hugely important, and he was heavily involved before being subbed. Two assists in the first half, he looks to be somewhere close to back to his best.
CAM) Santi Cazorla – 7.0
A surprisingly high defensive work-rate from the Spaniard, who was in a deeper role than normal. He had a couple of chances to score, but couldn’t convert.
RAM) Alexis Sanchez – 8.0
Industrious as ever, and got himself on the scoresheet as well. His rocket of a shot made it 3-0 before half time, and his pace and trickery made him dangerous throughout the game.
LAM) Mesut Özil – 8.0
He sprayed the ball all over the pitch, and his creativity was a constant threat. He made it 2-0 with an excellent free kick, and was unlucky to be subbed off in the second half.
ST) Olivier Giroud – 8.5
The Frenchman was excellent throughout the game, and even before his goal he was crucial to the victory. He was constantly involved, and his pressing game was superb. The cherry on top was his sublime finish to make it 4-1.
Gabriel Paulista – 7.0
Didn’t look out of place at all when he replaced Koscielny. Convinced he is a fantastic signing.
Mathieu Flamini – 6.0
Didn’t really offer that much, but was brought on as a more defensive option.
Danny Welbeck – 7.0
He looked really threatening when he replaced Özil, and his pace and power caused Liverpool endless problems. He possibly should have got something from the game, but his decision making wasn’t the best.
