Hector Bellerin was handed the crown of fastest player at Arsenal this season (via The Independent), taking the title from Theo Walcott, last week. Arsene Wenger claims that is not the case however, and insists that the England international is still the Emirates’ quickest resident.
Bellerin has been earning rave reviews this season, and has really stepped up in the absence of the injured Mathieu Debuchy. He has been impressive in his all-round play, but his lightning pace is definitely one of his stand-out asset.
Despite The Independent reporting that the Spaniard had beaten Walcott’s 40m sprint record, Wenger claims the senior man is still quicker.

Walcott has been out in the cold recently, and has barely featured since his return from injury.
