We may not have had our best game, but we’ve leveled things up against Manchester United through a deflected Theo Walcott strike.
The England international has been out of the starting lineup recently, and has struggled for first team football since returning from his lengthy injury.
He still has that desire to score though, and after latching onto a fantastic ball from Aaron Ramsey he drove towards United’s young defender Tyler Blackett.
Walcott struck a sweet shot goalwards, hoping to test Victor Valdes – who had been thrust onto the pitch following a David de Gea injury. Blackett got the block in, but it wasn’t enough to keep it out. The ball looped beautifully over the head of Valdes, who had gone to ground far too early.
Our man wheeled off to celebrate his goal, although it may go down as an own goal for Manchester United’s second half substitute.
