Hull City manager Steve Bruce is flabbergasted that Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is still receiving criticism despite gearing up for a second successive FA Cup win and potentially finishing second in league, the Daily Mail reports.
As Wenger prepares our team for a trip to the relegation threatened side on Monday, Bruce cannot comprehend how anyone can question our legendary manager.
Following the goalless draw against Chelsea last week, there was an unusually high number of negative reports surrounding the club despite the fact that we’re on course to finish 2nd and become the most decorated team in FA Cup history.
Arsenal transfer rumours
‘The introduction of Arsene Wenger was one of the first (overseas bosses) 18 years ago, he has been in the top four for the last 17 years, won three Premier Leagues, five FA Cups, they are in the final of the FA Cup again and still people question him,” Bruce was quoted as saying.
‘That’s how difficult the job is but I take a bit of heart from that. If he can get a bit of stick, maybe we are all due it because how you can question him is beyond me.”
We produced a dominant performance on our last visit to the KC Stadium, winning 3-0 in what was a dress rehearsal for the FA Cup final last year.
However, we should expect a tougher test this time around with the Tigers fighting against relegation. Alexis Sanchez has two goals in two appearances against Bruce’s side this season and could make it a clean sweep on Monday night.

A win away to Hull and we would take a massive step towards clinching second place with three of our last four games at home.
