Arsenal’s performance against Manchester United was an awful one – at least in the first half – but a very good result. A point at Old Trafford is never to be sniffed at and given our recent results there, it’s more than satisfying. However, it goes without saying that had we played a tad better in the first half we could have come away with the 3 points.
Ramsey needs to start central
I think it’s obvious that Ramsey is best at the centre. Ramsey has certainly worked well against Liverpool and Hull on the right flank, but for the most part it has made the Gunners too narrow. At Old Trafford it was no different; Ramsey struggled on the right like the rest of the team in the first half. But when he moved to his favoured position in the heart of midfield, he was the best player on the pitch, playing in some glorious passes. It was his splendid ball to Walcott that led to the Englishman’s cross that deflected into the net.
