Arsenal’s reported target Grzegorz Krychowiak has switched agents, deciding to have his affairs handled by Stellar Group, a British agency with some incredible stars on its roster, intensifying rumours that a move to us could soon become a reality, The Telegraph reports.
Krychowiak currently plies his trade in Spain with Sevilla and has caught the eye of many with some consistent displays as he helped the club clinch back-to-back Europa League trophies.
Arsene Wenger is looking to sign a midfielder this summer despite the rise of Francis Coquelin, as per The Telegraph, and the Polish international seems like a viable option.
Arsenal transfer news
The Times reported last week that Wenger switched his attentions to Krychowiak due to the release clause in his contract which would make him a cheaper option than Southampton’s Morgan Schneiderlin.
If we’re to realistically challenge for the Premier League season, we must do all we can to exit the close season with no regrets and have the needed quality in the right areas.
The base of our midfield is an area that needs addressing, simply due to the demanding season that awaits us and the fact that Coquelin cannot be expected to shoulder the responsibility for the an entire season on his own.
Any injury to Coquelin will leave us in an avoidable predicament and we can only hope that the club’s hierarchy can be proactive this summer.
