Jack Wilshere has been in the England team for years now, but the 23-year-old has only just scored his first international goal. His vicious strike brought things level for England, who had surprisingly gone behind against Slovenia in their Euro 2016 qualifier.
Wilshere has regularly been England’s best player in recent games, and has been pulling the strings from midfield. Adding goals to his game is what would take him to the next level, and he seems to be doing just that.
There was an element of fortune about the goal, with the ball falling kindly for Wilshere after Slovenia failed to clear their lines. The Arsenal man made no mistakes with his strike though, finding the back of the net with ease.

Wilshere has been superb since returning from injury, and was fantastic against West Bromwich Albion in particular. He will be hoping to remain injury free for a while now, and really cement his place in the starting XI.
