Arsenal have had some truly stunning kits over the years, as well as some real stinkers. From classics in red and white, to some truly out there designs incorporating green and gold.
The new kit has recently been leaked (via The Telegraph) but how does it compare to our past kits?
Below is a list of all our best – and worst – strips over the years (courtesy of The Telegraph), with my own personal favourite thrown in too:
- [Player Ratings] Arsenal 1-0 Newcastle – Ozil Wonder Goal Saves Boring, Boring Arsenal
- [Confirmed Lineups] Arsenal v Newcastle United – Wilshere & Lacazette Start In 4-2-3-1
- Lacazette, Ozil & Wilshere All Start In 4-2-3-1 – Arsenal v Newcastle United [Predicted Lineups]
16) Away kit 1977-78
The yellow kits of Arsenal have now become almost as famous as our red home kits, and are hugely popular among fans. This classic kit is simple, but incredibly beautiful.
15) Away shirt 1979
Another yellow and blue kit, the main difference the 1979 kit had was that the cannon was moved to the breast, which is far better in my opinion.
