Arsenal and Chelsea have dominated the 2014/15 season by winning four out of the six available trophies competed for at the beginning of every season in the top flight of English football. Said trophies include the Community Shield, the Premier League, League Cup, the FA Cup, the UEFA Champions League and the Europa League.
The Community Shield – which is considered the curtain raiser for the new Premier League season – was won by us after we convincingly beat last season’s Premier League champions Manchester City 3-0 at Wembley back in August last year. Although the two London rivals failed in Europe, Arsenal and Chelsea seem to have a stranglehold on domestic football right now.
The outcome of this campaign suggests that we’ll be Chelsea’s main title challengers next season as Wenger looks to secure our 14th league title.
