With the close of the 2014/15 season, we have inevitably seen a mountain of transfer stories emerge. We are all keeping our eyes peeled for the next player set to arrive at the Emirates, but what about those who have been linked with moves away?
Below we’ve named seven players who have been linked with moves away from the club, discussed why they may or may not happen, and given our opinion on the likelihood of each transfer:
7) Laurent Koscielny

What should happen – No chance
With Sergio Ramos linked with a move away from Real Madrid (via the Daily Mail), the La Liga giants will be on the lookout for a replacement. Koscielny has been touted as a £21m option (via the Mirror), but I believe there is no chance Arsene Wenger will be letting the Frenchman go.
Koscielny has improved dramatically since his arrival at the Emirates, and has elevated himself to the point that he is now one of the best central defenders in football.
It would take a monstrous fee to convince us to let him leave, and its hard to see Madrid matching our valuation of him.
We are not in a position where we need to sell, and we especially don’t want to be letting our best players leave.
6) David Ospina
Link – Fenerbahce

What should happen – Very likely
With the arrival of Petr Cech at the club (via the BBC), Ospina looks likely to leave this summer – despite spending just a season in England.
He has been linked with a move to Fenerbahce (via talkSPORT), and even claims his agent is already in discussions regarding a transfer.
We won’t have room for three potential first-choice shot-stoppers at the club, and with Wojciech Szczesny’s homegrown status and Cech presumably coming in to be our No.1, it’s hard to see anything other than an Ospina exit as the outcome.
