Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey has rejected the notion of a potential move to Barcelona after claiming that we’re a club that is heading in the right direction, he told Sky Sports.
Rumours suggested earlier on this summer that the Catalan giants were readying a £50milllion move for the Welsh star (via the Mirror), but Ramsey has rubbished such talk.
Having signed a new long-term contract last year, the midfielder believes that he can still achieve what he wants with us after lifting back-to-back FA Cup trophies.

“Obviously it’s very nice to hear that one of the best teams in the world are being linked with you, but I’ve signed a contract with Arsenal,” Ramsey stated.
“I feel like this team is definitely going places and has a fantastic few years ahead of them and hopefully we can go on and win a few things.”
Despite enduring an indifferent season riddled with several hamstring injuries, Ramsey still managed to get into double figures in terms of goal output.
The 24-year-old was positioned on the right side of midfield towards the back-end of last season, but a return to his favoured central berth will come next season.
If Ramsey can steer clear of injuries next term, we’ll have a great chance of challenging for the league such is his undoubted influence.
