Arsenal full-back Hector Bellerin took to his Instagram page in order to lift the spirits ahead of the new campaign and unveiled his new ‘whip’ – which is a contemporary term used by the younger generation for a car.
Bellerin was pitch side following our Members Day event at the Emirates Stadium on Monday and snapped himself riding a zebra alongside Gunnersaurus – our official mascot.
Bellerin is set to resume his battle for a first-team slot with Mathieu Debuchy after the Frenchman regained his fitness during pre-season following what was a disastrous debut campaign.
The former Barcelona academy graduate was certainly the surprise package from last season and ended the campaign as one of the best full-backs in the Premier League.

His speed and tidiness in possession is certainly appealing to Wenger who always demands that our full-backs join in the attacks and provide width.
It will be interesting to see who the boss favours against Chelsea on Sunday and one would imagine that whoever he chooses will be regarded as our first choice right-back.
