Wrestling legend Hulk Hogan is in the midst of a media storm at the moment, following the emergence of an audio clip containing racial slurs, as reported by The Independent.
The former WWE star has now been the victim of Twitter trolls, with Hogan retweeting images of Arsenal stars past and present who claim to be showing the Hulkster support.
The 61-year-old retweeted images of Danny Welbeck and Jack Wilshere, Emmanuel Eboue and Andrey Arshavin (it’s made more amusing by the fact that The Independent confused Eboue with Gervinho), and one of Kolo Toure. The Twitter handles claimed to be fans of Hogan’s, supporting him despite the accusations of racism. He has been the victim of a ruse however, and is now a laughing stock on Twitter.

Football obviously isn’t as big in North America as it is here, so Hogan is clearly oblivious as to what is going on. He has no idea who any of these Arsenal stars – past and present – are, and has merely drawn further criticism with his actions.
