Theo Walcott has finally agreed a new Arsenal contract, with the pacy forward putting pen to paper on a new four year deal.
The 26-year-old took to Twitter to announce his new £140k per week deal, thanking the Arsenal setup for everything, and sent a message to the fans telling them he’s ready for the upcoming season

His new deal will keep him at the club until 2019, which is fantastic news for all involved.

Walcott has shown since his return from injury that he has what it takes to lead the line at Arsenal, and has been scoring freely when given the chance. He will be hoping to see regular action upfront next season, and is likely to pay a huge part in any success we are hoping to have.

With the season opener almost upon us, it’s great to have this resolved now. We can now focus on toppling Chelsea in the Community Shield this weekend, and getting our Premier League season off to a flying start – unlike last year when our slow start cost us the chance to challenge for the title.
