Arsene Wenger isn’t one to dedicate much time to anything that distracts him from football, which makes the chances of him ever writing an autobiography rather slim. But don’t fret, as the next best thing looks set to arrive on a shelf near us.
The Mirror reporter and a man who has followed Wenger – and Arsenal – for a number of years, John Cross, is set to release a book next month on what has gone on behind the scenes during the Frenchman’s reign.
I’m delighted to announce I’ve got a book out next month. It’s on Arsene Wenger and the story of his Arsenal career pic.twitter.com/n600t7PEfv

Given that John Cross has seen many vivid images that couldn’t possibly make his column inches, or indeed potential stories he’s been told by people at the club off-record, we could arguably experience all these jewels in his latest project.
Wenger is a mysterious character, and over the last two decades he has probably garnered enough experience to contribute to a few books considering what we’ve been through.

The exact details regarding what the book focuses on are yet to be revealed, but hopefully Cross includes some information that is still relevant to what we’re experiencing today.
