If you were told that Alexis Sanchez was the hardest working player in the Premier League, you probably wouldn’t find it hard to believe. But now we’ve got stats to back up the claim, with the Chilean making more appearances than any Premier League player since 2013/14.
The former Barcelona star made over 50 appearances last season, not only featuring in a huge number of Arsenal fixtures, but heading off to his home nation for the Copa America as well.
This is off the back of the World Cup in Brazil last summer, with the 26-year-old barely given any time to rest.
The figures below show that he is the most tireless player in the Premier League, with Jose Callejon the only player in Europe’s top five leagues to beat him.

Alexis has made 107 appearances since 2013/14, with no other Premier League player even making the top six.
Hopefully the extended break handed to him this summer by Arsene Wenger has recharged his battery sufficiently, as we will need him at his best this season.
Arsenal transfer news
He scored 25 times in all competitions in his debut campaign, and will presumably be looking to better that tally in his second season with the club.
