Arsenal teenagers Ryan Huddart and Gedion Zelalem starred as our U-19 side defeated Stuttgart to reach the Durban International Cup after a dramatic penalty shootout win.
Huddart, who is a highly rated goalkeeper developing rather rapidly, saved two penalties in the shootout, handing Zelalem the floor in order to calmly slot home the winning spot-kick.

We’ll now go up against PSV in the final, whom we faced in the group stages – the Dutch side narrowly getting the win in a 1-0 victory.
Huddart was named on the substitutes bench last season in our Champions League tie at Anderlecht as Arsene Wenger faced a goalkeeper crisis of sorts.

And in Zelalem’s case, the midfielder’s talents are known to many, but whether or not he has the desire or the physicality to succeed at the top level remains to be seen.
