There is a fair amount of concern over the fitness of Alexis Sanchez at the moment, with fears that the Chilean is running on fumes. He has assured us that he still has plenty gas in the tank however, taking to Instagram to offer us some of his spare energy if we’re running low ourselves.
The post came with a caption: “You lack energy? I send you mine! #mienergiaespara…”
Arsene Wenger already seemed to have some concerns over Alexis, with reports suggesting he would give the former Barcelona star a mid-season break to help him recuperate (via the Metro).
The same report reveals that Chile boss Jorge Sampaoli is contemplating playing Alexis against Uruguay this Tuesday, despite the 26-year-old suffering from calf pain and having played the full 90 minutes against Colombia last week.
Arsenal transfer news
Hopefully our star forward and last season’s top goalscorer isn’t just telling us what we want to hear when he speaks of his abundance of energy, and he really is fully fit.

He has unquestionably looked a little jaded recently, but hopefully it’s a mental issue that he can overcome quickly. We need him firing on all cylinders this season, so we’ll have to monitor the situation carefully.
