Mesut Özil claims most of the squad are fully fit ahead of our clash with Burnley, and appears to be in confident mood of the FA Cup fourth round this weekend.
The German playmaker took to social media as he so often does, posting a picture of himself driving home from training. The caption highlighted how thrilled he was that so many players are returning from injury, a sentiment no doubt shared by the majority of Arsenal fans.

Injuries once again threatened to derail us this season, with key players like Alexis Sanchez, Santi Cazorla, and Francis Coquelin spending extended periods on the sidelines. Alexis Sanchez made his long awaited return against Chelsea however, and Coquelin may well feature against Burnley on Saturday (via the Metro).
There are obviously still a few outstanding injury concerns, and a couple of players are unlikely to feature hugely before the end of the season. Our squad is a lot stronger than it was a month or two ago though, so hopefully we can get our title push back on track.
We’ve obviously been enjoying a superb campaign, and Mesut Özil in particular has been outstanding so far. The burden of responsibility will be lifted off his shoulders somewhat thanks to the return of some of our other key stars, but hopefully he can still have the same impact during the second half of the season.
Arsenal transfer news
The World Cup winner may get a rest this weekend for the FA Cup, or at the very least start the game on the bench. This will be a good chance for Arsene Wenger to ease a few players back in, but we also have to make sure we do everything we can to ensure progression.
