Thierry Henry has been massively criticised by Tottenham fans after naming his Premier League XI for the season so far, with just a single Spurs star in his team (via the Mirror).
It’s hard to argue with his picks for the most part though, so it seems to be just a case of bitter Tottenham fans crying once again. You can see plenty of this in the comments section of Sky Sports’ tweet, with everyone offering up their own opinions.
Tottenham have unquestionably looked like a good team at times this season, and their consistency has seen them move head of us in the table into second following our poor run of games. This has seen Tottenham fans automatically assume that the Premier League XI should be full of their players, but Henry disagrees.
The Frenchman hasn’t completely filled his team with Arsenal stars though, and has shown plenty of respect for current league leaders Leicester City.
The team contains five Leicester stars, four from Arsenal, one from Tottenham, and one from Manchester City.
Thierry Henry’s picked his top four combined XI…thoughts?

Most of these players are shoo-ins, and it’s impossible to disagree with the likes of Jamie Vardy, Riyad Mahrez, Mesut Özil, or Petr Cech. There are a couple of disputable inclusions, but none that couldn’t be considered a perfectly reasonable opinion.
Two potential changes to the King’s lineup could be in defence, with Robert Huth dropping out for Toby Alderweireld and Christian Fuchs replaced by Nacho Monreal.
Arsenal transfer news
Would Tottenham fans be happy with one more of their players in the lineup? Or will they not be satisfied until it’s 90% Tottenham?
