Piers Morgan consistently claims he’s an Arsenal fan, yet repeatedly shows that he’s unquestionably the worst football fan around (and knowing plenty of Chelsea fans that is saying something). After securing what could prove to be one of the biggest wins of the season over Leicester City this past weekend, Arsenal fans were understandably ecstatic. Despite still being third in the table, we closed the gap significantly on the league leaders, and the last minute nature of the victory made it all the sweeter.
Morgan didn’t join in with the celebrations though, and instead looked to take the joy out of the victory by dumping all over the players following the game. He took to Twitter to ask the Arsenal players to cut out the selfies, simultaneously showing that he doesn’t actually know what a selfie is.

Why he couldn’t have given the boys their moment after such a massive win is a mystery, and he has really shown once again that he’s a terrible Arsenal fan. When everyone else was out celebrating, he was sat on his computer being negative and looking to rain on everyone’s parade.
We may not have been at our best in 2016, but after a blip against the Foxes, we really began to dominate. We peppered their goal throughout the second half, and finally got the winning goal in the dying minutes through Danny Welbeck.
The fact that Welbeck had only just come on as a substitute and was making his first Arsenal appearance since last April made it so much better, and there was no need for the negativity from Morgan.

The journalist seems to live to stir things up and cause controversy, and only really seems to be an Arsenal fan because it allows him another platform to peddle his negativity.
