We’ve got a real six pointer against Leicester this weekend, and we’ll need to be at our best. For the most part our team picks itself at the moment, with Arsene Wenger not having many difficult decisions to make. There’s a couple of choices up front though, and Francis Coquelin will hopefully be ready to take Mathieu Flamini’s place in midfielder after recovering from injury.
Here’s how we think Arsenal will line up this weekend:
GK) Petr Cech
Arguably the best goalkeeper in the league this season, there’s no chance Cech will be dropped unless injury strikes.
RB) Hector Bellerin
Bellerin’s starting spot is similarly assured, with nobody else really able to take his place. Since Mathieu Debuchy’s departure the only option we have is Calum Chambers, who despite his qualities has no future at right-back.

LB) Nacho Monreal
Kieran Gibbs has been pushing Monreal a little harder this season, but not enough to displace him as far as we’re concerned.
CB) Laurent Koscielny
Unquestionably our first choice centre-back, it’s really just a question of who starts alongside him. Per Mertesacker has been benched recently, but it’s hard to know what Arsene Wenger is thinking.
CB) Gabriel Paulista
Mertesacker has been benched ever since his red card against Chelsea, and we see no reason to return him to the side now. Gabriel hasn’t been faultless, but he has been solid. Plus the pace of Leicester could really cause the German some problems, so Gabriel should at the very least keep his place for one more week.
