After our disastrous display against Manchester United on the weekend we’ve put ourselves in a really difficult position, and we have to take all three points against Swansea in midweek.
However, we’ve also got to keep one eye on Tottenham at the weekend, with this North London Derby arguably the biggest in a long, long time. This is likely to have a huge impact on Arsene Wenger’s selection, and a couple of big names may be rested.
Here’s how we think Arsenal will line up against Swansea:
GK) Petr Cech
Despite conceding three against Manchester United, Cech really wasn’t at fault for any of them. No question marks here really.

RB) Hector Bellerin
Calum Chambers was absent from the squad against United, so it seems unlikely he’ll be thrown straight back into the starting XI.
LB) Nacho Monreal
Kieran Gibbs has slightly more of a chance of starting, as Monreal could do with a rest ahead of Tottenham at the weekend. It still seems more likely that the Spaniard will start though.
CB) Laurent Koscielny
The Frenchman didn’t enjoy a particularly fruitful partnership with Gabriel Paulista, but he was unquestionably the better of the two against United.
CB) Per Mertesacker
Our vice-captain was dropped for the weekend’s game, but after Gabriel’s performance you’d expect him to get his place back.
