Edinson Cavani claims he’s delighted with the interest being shown in him by the likes of Arsenal, Chelsea, and Manchester United, and insists his future is somewhat up in the air, as reported by the Daily Star.
The Uruguayan has been regularly linked with a move away from Paris Saint-Germain, as he’s been struggling for a regular starting spot in his preferred striking role due to the presence of Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
The Swede is now being linked with a move to the Premier League (via Sky Sports), but that hasn’t stopped Cavani being tipped to move as well.
The former Napoli man claims he’s happy at PSG, but suggests a move could happen if the right offer came along.
“I’ve been talked about a lot during last weeks, regarding transfer market, and that’s partially positive, since I’m glad a lot of clubs are interested in me,” he told Spanish publication Marca.
“But I don’t want people to think I’m not happy here in Paris.

“I’m on a deal with PSG two years longer, and I want to fulfil the agreement, although you never know what will happen in football.
“There are a lot of things not depending on me, we’ll have to wait how current season turns out, and what PSG will plan for next season.
“I really don’t know what my future will be, there are a lot of things people don’t know”.
Even when not played in his favoured position, Cavani still brings plenty to the team – not least a large number of goals. PSG would undoubtedly look to recoup some of the massive transfer fee they spent on the 29-year-old, but he’d no doubt bring a lot to any team.
With Ibrahimovic looking likely to leave at the end of the season it seems unlikely that the French champions would let Cavani leave too, but with their history in the transfer market anything could happen.

Either of PSG’s strikers would be great signings for Arsenal, and could prove to be exactly what we need to take us to the next level; but can we afford them?
