Despite the title already being won, we have a massive game against Manchester City this weekend. This game could go a long way towards deciding who finishes third this season, and a win could potentially even see us still in with a chance of second.
Arsene Wenger will probably stick with a pretty similar team, although a couple of changes may be forced upon him.
Here’s how we think Arsenal will line up against City:
GK) Petr Cech
- Alexis Sanchez ‘Desperately’ Trying To Join Real Madrid
- Klopp: The Ox’s Move To Liverpool Was “A Relief”
- Henry: That Should Be The Standard Performance Away From Home
Unquestionably our first choice shot-stopper, and there’s no reason to think Ospina will get his place back against City.
RB) Hector Bellerin
The Spaniard is unlikely to get a break, with options limited. Calum Chambers featured for the U21s during midweek, so probably won’t be involved this weekend.
LB) Nacho Monreal
The same goes for Monreal, who will probably keep Kieran Gibbs out of the side for the remainder of the campaign.
CB) Gabriel Paulista
With Per Mertesacker ruled out for the rest of the season (via Arsenal.com), Gabriel Paulista will reclaim his place alongside Laurent Koscielny.
CB) Laurent Koscielny
The Frenchman is first choice even when everyone is fully fit, so with no Mertesacker he’s sure to start.
