Stadium: The KCOM Stadium
Kick Off (GMT): Sat 17 Sep 15:00
The most memorable fixture between Arsenal and Hull City is of course the 2013 FA Cup final. Hull shocked the Gunners into a 2-0 lead but that incredible free kick from Santi Cazorla and Aaron Ramsey’s extra time winner helped win Arsenal’s first trophy in eight years.
You’ll have to go back to 2008 for the last time Hull City beat Arsenal. Geovanni helped the visitors to a 2-1 victory at the Emirates. The Gunners’ record when travelling to Hull is nothing short of excellent. Five wins from five and 15 goals scored means that the history is certainly with Arsenal this afternoon.

The Gunners are now expected to be without Olivier Giroud for the match after picking up a toe injury in the Champions League match against PSG earlier in the week. Midfielder Aaron Ramsey has also been ruled out of the match after hitting a setback with his injury.
The home side are without a number of first team players, most notably Michael Dawson who is out until next month with a knee injury. This means that Jake Livermore will probably start in the centre of defence again. See here for the full opponent watch preview.
